What is RFG?​

RFG and the future of protocol governance​

RFG is the governance token of the RealFi protocol, designed to align long-term participants with the sustainable evolution of the protocol.

At this time, RFG is earned through active participation in the RealFi ecosystem via an off-chain, institutional-grade loyalty engine known as R-Points.

  • Earning points:

    Early adopters and participants earn R-Points by engaging in behaviors that support the protocol's stability and liquidity, such as referring friends and protocol liquidity.

  • Seasonal conversion:

    During designated seasonal distribution windows, points are converted into RFG governance tokens at a team-defined conversion rate.

  • Legal framework for conversion:

    To ensure compliance, the conversion of points into RFG is tied to protocol participation thresholds rather than commercial or financial targets. The exact conversion rates and vesting schedules will be published by the protocol before each distribution event takes place.

RFG has not yet been issued, is not currently offered for sale, and is not currently available for distribution. Any future issuance or distribution of RFG, including any conversion of R-Points to RFG, will be subject to a separate decision by the relevant RealFi entity, applicable legal and regulatory requirements, and separate terms and conditions to be published at the relevant time.

The specific tokenomics, distribution mechanics, conversion mechanics, vesting schedules, and governance rights of RFG will be disclosed in connection with the RFG token generation event in accordance with applicable law. Until that disclosure is published, no final representation is made concerning RFG supply, allocation, distribution timing, vesting terms, or governance rights.

R-Points are a record of protocol participation only. R-Points have no monetary value and do not constitute a financial instrument, security, token, or any other regulated product. R-Points do not create any entitlement, expectation, or legally enforceable right to receive RFG tokens, any other digital asset, or any payment of any kind.
